Ah...Garfield. Peaked in the 1980's, yet continues to appear in a million newspapers, sells calendars and plush toys. Peaked in the 80s, much like the mustache as a fashion accessory. That's why I love the very surreal art of Lasagna Cat - I can't really explain it, but you should probably check it out. Here's a youtube clip that is very relevant to our cause.
